Swiss brand, Qwstion has opened its first permanent store in Zurich, creating a concept store that not only showcases the entire collection and other integrated brands, but also includes Qwstion’s development studio. Qwstion Invites is a simple, youthful store utilizing ALU solutions to give full light and attention to its displays.
Columbia, a global leader in outdoor apparel, footwear and equipment, recently reopened its latest store in Chamonix, France after 7 weeks of a complete renovation.
The store – comprised of two floors – was developed using ALU products and custom solutions.
The customizability of ALU’s ready-made products is shown effortlessly in Portobello’s new showroom in Brazil. The entire showroom is build out with a design in partnership with Portobello and Marchetti&Bonetti Architecture Studio - with the production and installation by ALU.
Retail concept brand, STORY recently revealed their latest concept ‘HER STORY’ in New York City. Envisioned by founder, Rachel Shechtman, STORY takes the editorial viewpoint of a magazine, changes like a gallery, and sells things like a store. This specific story concept was all about HER. In collaboration with HER STORY, ALU integrated their unique fixturing systems, providing a versatile platform that let STORY weave written content into its visual merchandising strategy.
Taschen’s first Italian flagship store opened last week in the historic center of Milan at Via Meravigli 17.
The project was developed by long term Taschen collaborator, Marc Newson, with all fixtures and displays engineered, designed, manufactured and installed by ALU. Starting with the molding process all the way to the installation, everything was made 100% in Italy with a focus on craftsmanship, high level materials and specific attention to detail.
