The notable technical outerwear brand, Arc’teryx has developed a new concept for their stores, the first one being in La Brea LA in California. ALU worked with the Arc’teryx store design team to provide a unique hanging system set against a beautiful brick wall backdrop.
Kenneth Cole gets a new look for their showroom in New York City. ALU’s SLASH was used throughout the showroom in its raw steel finish, allowing the merchandise and product on the floor to shine. Custom cross bars were used on the free standing units to incorporate a custom gray fabric backdrop within the fixtures. Both free standing and wall mounted SLASH displayed an array of the latest of Kenneth Cole’s footwear line.
The retail space, DO THE EXTRAORDINARY based in Seattle, received a store revamp for the purpose of an experiential event held by MiND Magazine on June 14-15,2017.
ALU worked closely with DO THE EXTRAORDINARY to really bring a sense of energy and atmosphere into the design studio, providing an array of SLASH fixtures that complimented the store's unique range of handcrafted merchandise. The fixtures also acted as navigational dividers and were purposely placed to create an airy, natural and open feel of the space to allow for the event.
