ALU NY ready for the Retail Design Collective

ALU has chosen to embody a more artistic, emotional approach to its New York showroom for the three days of open doors at the Retail Design Collective 2014. The setup, being designed by a renowned contemporary artist, will turn the showroom into a house of riveting innovation, inspiration and creativity.  

 

On December 4th, at 12:00pm, ALU New York will also host a panel discussion, “Elevating the visuals”, presented by MiND Magazine, on a new creative approach to visual merchandising.

Rent the Runway reveals their first store in NYC

Rent the Runway has recently opened their flagship store in NYC. A unique fashion and apparel company, their store involves renting out luxury dresses and jewelry for much less than the original price. Originally born online, Rent the Runway is now located in center of the Flatiron district in their first brick and mortar store.

 

ALU’s SLASH is wall mounted on all sides of the store, displaying luxury dresses, gowns, handbags and accessories.

Designed and realized by Quadrangle Architects, the space focused on a sleek, clean looking aesthetic using systems like ALU’s SLIDER to create a modular, eye catching shelving display.
