Fornasetti Pop-Up Store

Set against the vibrant backdrop of Saint-Tropez, The Shop on The Corner by Oakley Capital brings together five of the group's iconic brands—Smythson, Connolly, Alessi, Globe-Trotter, and Fornasetti, the celebrated Italian design atelier renowned for its poetic and highly decorative objects.

For the project, Oakley Capital once again collaborated with Señoritos Creative Co., the Madrid-based multidisciplinary design studio recognized for creating immersive retail, exhibition, and hospitality environments. A studio known for its ability to merge spatial storytelling with curated design, the studio develops environments that balance a distinctive visual identity with functional adaptability, fostering a meaningful dialogue between brands, objects, and visitors.

At the heart of the interior, ALU's Plot Slim system establishes a refined architectural framework through a combination of wall-mounted and freestanding radial configurations. Slender metal profiles paired with warm wooden shelving introduce rhythm, depth, and material contrast, lending structure to the space while maintaining an elegant sense of lightness.

Within this framework, Fornasetti's eclectic universe unfolds through layered, open compositions that juxtapose decorative objects, tableware, books, and textiles. The modular display system serves as a discreet architectural backdrop, allowing each piece to appear almost suspended while remaining precisely framed against the richly patterned interior.

The result is a gallery-like retail environment that reflects Señoritos Creative Co.'s exhibition-driven approach to design—one where flexibility, spatial clarity, and carefully choreographed product presentation come together to create a sophisticated and memorable visitor experience.
